In-vitro test:
In vitro tests (a PTT-activated Partial Thromboplastin Time and TT-Thormbin Time) have shown that REGU®-AGE improves \the microcirculation.
In vivo tests:
Twenty subjects applied the product to their faces twice a day after \facial cleansing over a period of 8 weeks. The study was performed on a double blind randomized basis. REGU®-AGE is principally intended for mature skin that is beginning to exhibit the initial signs of ageing.
Formulation:
REGU®-AGE is a yellowish aqueous solution and can easily be incorporated into the qqueous phase of a formulation. REGU®-AGE should be processed below 40°C and is stable in the pH range of 5.5 to 8.0. Suggested concentration: REGU®-AGE
Skin smoothness:
Silicone replicas of the canthus area were taken and analyzed via digital image analysis for lines and wrinkles and overall skin texture. After 8 weeks of treatment with 5% REGU®-AGE, an improvement of skin texture of 42% could be observed.
